The ESI MAXIO XD is a complete 24-bit/192kHz professional recording system designed to handle 32 simultaneous channels of analog inputs and outputs. The basic system consists of the EX8000, a 2-rack space unit with 8-in/8-out balanced XLR connectors and a PCI host card. It is equipped with four E.D.I (ESI Digital Interface) connections, each capable of individually supporting one EX-8000, giving the system 32 channel capability on one card. The EX8000 front panel features 8 balanced mic preamps. XLR/TRS Combo connectors and 10 step LED peak metering lights for each channel. It also includes +48V DC phantom power on each channel, AES/EBU, S/PDIF digital I/O, ADAT Optical I/O, S/MUX, Word Clock input via BNC connector, Inserts of 8x1/4 inch Phone jack and a headphone monitor connector with amplifier. The MaXiO PCI host card interface is universal board (compatible for both of 3.3V and 5V PCI slot). For PC, the MaXiO XD is equipped with ESI's unique and powerful EWDM driver for perfect compatibility with Windows XP and 2000, offering ultra low-latency performance with all popular digital audio software applications including Nuendo, Cubase, Gigastudio, Cakewalk, Sonar, Logic, Samplitude and Sequia.
