The DPA MMP4000-S Solid State Preamplifier features a versatile modular design allowing the microphone capsule MMC4041(not included) to be separated from the preamplifier.

The DPA MMP4000-S solid state preamplifier design is identical to the discrete transistor output stage used in our series of hi-voltage microphones and offers a total linear and transparent signal path. The low noise output stage is driven as a class A unity gain impedance converter. It is supplied with 130V via the HMA5000 Microphone Amplifier (not included) allowing the preamplifier module to handle extremely high audio signals without adding any distortion.
