MMP4000-T Tube Preamplifier description:

The DPA MMP4000-T Tube Preamplifier is a part of the DPA versatile modular system allowing the microphone capsule to be separated from the preamplifier.

The tube preamplifier offers a slight musical coloration and uses a special quality sub-miniature pentode vacuum tube driven as a cathode follower in a transformerless class A output stage. The DPA MMP4000-T is supplied with 130 V and the tube is heated via 6.3 V through the optional DPA HMA5000 Microphone Amplifier.
