The DPA HTP4000 Hi-voltage converter is both an adaptor that converts the modified 7-pin XLR into a standard 3-pin XLR female and at the same time converts the 130V from the HMA5000 into P48. It makes it possible to use Phantom powered microphones together with the DPA Microphone Amplifier HMA5000. The HTP4000 works with both the HMA4000 and the HMA5000. Please note, that pin 3 is AC grounded. It is not recommended to use the HTP4000 in connection with electronically balanced outputs.
