The DPA UA0638 windscreen is made of expanded foam (25-30 pores per inch). The expanded foam ensures that the windscreen does not attenuate the higher frequencies more than the tolerance field of the microphone frequency response. It is well suited for outdoor applications and for speech and singing at short distances. It is ideal for the DPA 4003/06 microphones.
