The DPA 5015 4015-TL Surround Microphone Kit. Intended for use in a WCSA, Wide Cardioid Surround Array.

The DPA 5015 4015-TL Surround Microphone Kit includes five 4015-TL Wide Cardioid Microphones, P48 (matched within ±1 dB in sensitivity and frequency response in the microphone's entire frequency range) and five UA0898 Shock Mounts. The 5015 4015-TL Surround Kit is intended for use in a WCSA (Wide Cardioid Surround Array). All five microphones are identical in sensitivity, overall response and sound character. The Wide Cardioid design offers the optimal blend between desired ambience control (cardioids) and room tone (omnis). When the kit is used in a WCSA you will get a very stable front image and excellent localization accuracy with intense, dynamic, and enveloping sound character. Rear cardioids can be angled upwards to blend in important height information. Expand this array with two left/right omni outriggers and you get a beautiful coherent, precise, and rich surround sound image.
