The DPA WSM4000 WINDPAC Shock Mount fits essentially any microphone in a single unit with a simple setup. In fact, it can fit two mics in an MS setup without the need for any extra fittings or accessories. The microphone holder sits in a quiet web suspension of rubber straps providing effective damping and protection against any handling noise. The shock mount with microphone(s) can be used as a separate "pistol grip" recording device or it can be mounted at the end of a boom pole. For universal positioning, the shock mount is fitted with two adjustment knobs. This unique feature allows you to position the unit both front to back and side to side, for light and easy recording at any awkward angle. The unit is made of a lightweight, extremely durable nylon and fiberglass material.
