The DPA WXY4000 XY Stereo Holder for the DPA WINDPAC is perfect when you need to boom in stereo. The holder is used for mounting two DPA 4023 Compact Cardioid microphones in a coincident intensity difference XY stereo configuration with 90° between the capsules. The lightweight holder is a very convenient and practical tool for mounting in the Shock Mounts WSM4000 or UA0897. The XY setup has a great advantage in being completely mono compatible, since no comb filtering will appear when left and right are summed to mono. The holder is made of black anodized aluminum and rubber rings to ensure durability and stability. The WXY4000 has 2 standard LEMO-connectors for simple and safe mounting and removal of the microphones. The holder includes a completely transparent interface between the 2 LEMO-connectors and the 5-pin XLR connector for Phantom power (P48).
