The ESP Guitars EX 400 solid body electric guitar is professionally equipped with an eyegrabbing design. The ESP Ltd Standard Series EX-400 BLK is loaded with an EMG 81 pickup in the bridge position and an EMG 60 pickup for the neck, a wonderful active pickup combination for metal and rock tones. The comfortable, thin U-shaped, 3-piece maple set neck with a rosewood fingerboard on a mahogany body provides superb resonance and sustain for the EMG's to belt out rich rhythm and searing solo tones, perfect for metal and rock. The ESP Guitars Ltd EX400 BLK has a 24.75 inch scale for easy note bending and the upper frets are easily reached with the edgy, radical design. Other features include dot inlays, Grover tuners, Tune-o-matic bridge w/ Stop Tailpiece and Toggle / Vol / Tone controls. The hardware works well, with an Earvana Compensated Nut, ensuring reliable, long-term tuning across the note range.
