The PRS SANTANA IV guitar is the evolution of the Santana I, II and III models. Carlos Santana and Paul Smith have been working together for more than two years on this new instrument and its new sound. The Santana IV has most of the appointments of the Santana II and III models but with two major differences. The knobs are now in McCarty positions, and the instrument includes a special Mastering Voice Control. This Voice Control provides an early sixties sound and clarity to the instrument and turns on and off with a mini-toggle. PRS make the Santana IV to special order only, using many of the design and construction features Paul employed on the first guitars he hand-built for Carlos two decades ago. Every aspect of this model meets Carlos' stringent specifications, and it sings like no other with the added versatility of Mastering Voice Control. A stunning professional guitar.
