The CORTEX DMIX-600 has been designed and engineered to provide digital
music playback and manipulation features demanded by professional
users. Similar on features with the Cortex dMIX-300, but the dMIX-600 includes Intelligent music database management, Dual mode iPod Dock, Blue "Fluid" diffused VU Meters with Master Cue select and ID3 tag compatibility. The Dmix600 is designed to liberate DJs from the issues associated with PC-based solutions, by eliminating the need for a computer during performance. The Dmix-600 also offers superior portability and flexibility over that of a typical PC. The CORTEX dMIX-600 digital music control station is a great tool for Digital DJs that use storing devices or players like iPod, USB flash memories or hard drives. It features a dual mode iPod dock station for third generation or above iPod’s, iPod nano or iPod mini and plays MP3, WAV or CD-Audio files. The Cortex dMIX-600 has a 2-channel audio mixer, dual mode iPod dock, one USB port (to connect storage devices or to transfer files from/to the computer), RCA outputs, playlist support, search in files function (artist, title, tags, albums etc.) inside libraries, autofade function, 3-band EQ per channel, super smooth cross fader, two jog wheels (as a search control, like iPod wheel, pitch adjust and scratch functions), gain and level controls and transport controls plus balanced XLR outputs and effects.
