The Ibanez EDB550 bass guitar is respected for it's comfortable shape and superb dynamic range. The original Ergodyne EDB's were molded of man-made materials so their comfortable shapes could be offered at a reasonable price. Now, bass making techniques allows the EDB's player-friendly ergonomic shape to be affordably rendered in ash, for rich, organic tones. The EDB550-NTF has a light ash body, slim and fast five-piece EDB4 Jatoba/Bubinga neck, a rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays and 24 medium frets. The B100 adjustable bridge keeps the tuning stability well. The Ibanez EDB 550 also features Duncan/Ibanez pickups and onboard EQB-II DX 2-band eq with Bass Boost/Cut and Treble Boost/Cut controls.
