The Audix CX212 MATCHED PAIR package gives you two performance matched units for complete accuracy, presented with heavy duty shockmounts. The CX-212 is a true condenser microphone with a contemporary design and excellent performance characteristics. It has a rich, full-bodied sound delivered by its dual 1.07 inch diaphragm, custom tensioned to provide exceptionally consistent and accurate results every time. Equipped with a choice of cardioids, omni, and figure-8 patterns the CX-212 serves a variety of applications for project studios, professional audio production, and live stage performances. Delivering a wide band frequency response from 30 Hz – 20 kHz, the CX-212 is equipped with a switch for bass roll-off. The CX212 is characterised with an open mesh grill which, in addition to providing protection to the capsule, helps to minimize reflections and refractions of incoming signals. A heavy duty isolation shockmount system is included, allowing the CX212 to be used securely in any position and be free of shock and vibration. The CX-212, which is designed with a discreet low noise preamp circuitry, operates on phantom power of 48-52 volts. Optimum results will be achieved by using the CX-212MP matched pair with a high quality dual mic preamplifier and premium quality microphone cables.
