The Vienna Instruments Collection Special Brass offers resonant rarities that a first-rate virtual orchestra can’t do without.
The Special Brass Library contains 23 GB of uncompressed sample data in 44.1kHz/24-bit. Due to an innovative optimization process, the Vienna Instruments engine decompresses the samples in real-time, so that they take up only 15 GB of space on your hard disk.
Even if you licensed the Standard Library only, the Full Library of your Collection gets installed on your hard drive since Standard and Extended Library can’t be separated due to structural database requirements.
Vienna Instruments Collection Special Brass contains recordings of an ensemble of six trumpet players (three trumpets in Bb and three in C). The Fanfare Trumpets provide tremendous impact with their sforzato and sforzatissimo playing techniques. And they deliver sparkling trumpet themes that soar magnificently above the orchestra.
Vienna ’s much-acclaimed solo trumpet player Freddy Staudigl recorded another solo instrument from the trumpet group, the Cornet.
The Alto trombone expands the VSL Trombone family to its highest register, now making a total of four different trombone tunings available. The Euphonium is yet another feature, revealing the high register of the tuba family.
