The Fender TB-600C Bass Combo provides professional bass amp solutions for players who are looking for a thick, natural and balanced tone that sits fat in their live or studio mix.

The key to the Fender TB-600C 's creamy tone is a passive tone stack, the back bone of classic Fender guitar and bass amps. A passive tone stack has an interactive nature, with each knob affecting the others, resulting in big warm notes that represent the natural sound of the bass being played.

An overdrive section (Gain, Volume & Blend) sits on top of the clean channel of the Fender TB-600C, allowing you to dial in tones from a subtle grind to full on overdrive. Vari-Q is a smart semi-parametric EQ with a user selectable frequency and a cut/boost of 15 dB. When boosting frequencies, it automatically WIDENS the focus of the Q for a broader, more musical boost. When cutting frequencies, it automatically NARROWS the focus of the Q for a well-defined cut (notch). This intelligent Q control keeps “on the fly” operation simple and effective.

Room Balance is a global EQ shift for cabinets/stage response. Clockwise turn cuts lower end frequencies while simultaneously raising upper frequencies. Counter-clockwise brings up lower end frequencies while simultaneously lowering upper frequencies. This knob does not affect the XLR out, so you can “dial in the stage” while giving the soundman an unaltered signal.

The Fender TB-600C combo delivers 450 watts to its internal 8 Ohm load, 600 watts when paired with any 8 Ohm external cabinet. The head portion is rack mounted and can be pulled out for use as part of a larger system. So, use it as a high powered, professional combo, add another cabinet to increase its power, or pull the head for separate use. Overdrive, Vari-Q, FX Loop and Mute are all accessible via the TBFS-4, 4-button footswitch (sold separately) which also has a built in tuner!
