The Gibson VOS 58 Les Paul Standard Plaintop, Washed Cherry is an electric singlecut guitar which follows the VOS (Vintage Original Spec) that make these series of guitars Gibson's next step in their journey towards perfection.

In an effort to jump start the steadily declining sales of the Les Paul Model, Gibson abandoned the familiar gold finish and used a translucent, cherry sunburst finish which showed off the figured maple tops, which were often used on Les Pauls.
