HPD-15 Handsonic Percussion Controller description:

The HPD-15 uses new Roland technology to convincingly model the unique performance characteristics of percussion instruments via a 10" rubber pad that can be played by hand. This pad is divided into 15 parts for simultaneous control of 15 different sounds. Thanks to a built-in pressure sensor, percussionists can perform muting and pitch control as they would on an acoustic instrument such as a conga.
