M2000 description:

The MC2000 is a high-end multi- band compressor Plug-In designed to emulate the sounds of vintage and modern compressors in two, three, and four band configurations.

The MC2000 gives the user complete control of multi-band dynamic compression. Common controls such as Output (make-up gain), Threshold, Compression (Ratio), Attack, and Release are provided. Non-standard Knee and Bite controls allow unique and unprecedented articulation of compression characteristics. Multiple peak detection circuit types provide flexibility only previously achieved by owning different compression units. Steep 24 dB/oct crossover filters, taken from our award winning FilterBank Plug-In, minimize signal leakage into adjacent compression bands. The MC2000 is 6 plug-Ins: the basic compressor from CompressorBank (CB1) is configured in 2, 3, and 4 bands - all in mono and stereo versions.

Operating System
McDSP Plug-Ins are compatible with both Mac OS X (X.3 - Jaguar and X.4 - Tiger) and Windows XP.

The McDSP XP versions require at least ProTools 6.1 and an Intel Pentium 4 or greater processor.*

Applications
ProTools 6.2.3 or higher is required for both TDM and LE systems, or a Third Party software application that supports the DigiDesign AudioSuite, RTAS or TDM Plug-In Standard.

McDSP Plug-Ins are compatible with ProTools 6.9.2

Hardware
This includes HD, HD Accel, Digi 001, 002, and Mbox host based systems using ProTools LE, or a Third Party Hardware interface that supports an application that can host the DigiDesign AudioSuite or RTAS Plug-In Standard.

Legacy Systems
McDSP makes legacy support available to Pro Tools|24, Pro Tools|24 MIX, and MIX-Plus systems operating in either OS9 or OSX. Plug-ins for such systems are feature frozen and still require a valid iLok authorization to operate.

Floppy Disk and Challenge response are no longer supported in any available McDSP plug-ins.
