A full concert grand piano was used to develop the Arius ´Concert Grand´ voice and Yamaha has won huge praise throughout the world its authentic, natural tone. More than 10 different key strikes were sampled for each note of the keyboard offering a hugely detailed, expressive sound. As well as the concert grand piano sound, the Arius also includes organ, harpsichord and other keyboard sounds. The damper pedals included with the Arius also offers sophisticated expression and can handle micro adjustments when the pedals are pressed.
The Arius YDP-141 has several features that will fuel users creativity – a 2-track recorder is included with the Arius allowing you to capture original musical ideas and performances so you won’t have to worry about forgetting them. Dual voice capability enables you to play two different instrument sounds at once allowing you to experiment with sounds. Headphone sockets are included for silent practice in the home and a volume control allows for detailed low-level adjustment.
