C 4000 B Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone description:

The Akg C4000B has a large 1 inch condenser capsule. Its large diaphragm and selectable patterns make the C4000B ideal for a multitude of recording tasks. It is fantastic at recording vocals, brass, acoustic guitar and kick drums. With exceptionally high headroom the Akg C4000B provides some of the widest dynamic range available today. The C4000B has a 10dB attenuation pad allowing close miking of instruments in the studio and on stage, extending the operating range, allowing the mic to be used with excessively loud instruments as well as vocals. A cardioid, hyper-cardioid and omni-directional switch is provided and gives the C 4000B its versatility. Switchable polar patterns allow the microphone, to be used for various situations.
