Despite its low price, the Audio Technica AT2020 delivers a very mature and believable sound on both vocals and instruments. Nice sound from a budget mic, good strong mic holder for live work, overheads etc
No pad or high pass switch but not really a big deal
This is part of my audio upgrade from usb mic to usb mixer and xlr mics. I've only used the 2020 for some short ad readings so far, but it's such an improvement on my previous mic (Blue Snowball) that I couldn't be happier
fabulous quality for the price with very good overall sound, even without pop guard.
good possibly do with a live indicator, but really hardly any bad points worth mentioning.
Stunning value, great sound (very smooth top end for a cheap condenser) and built like a tank. The included mount is nothing special; it does the job but you're much better off getting a proper shockmount.
It's a tiny bit noisier than my other mics - not enough to cause any problems for me, but it's worth considering. The AT shockmount is almost as expensive as the mic, and it was difficult to find another one that fit.
Good clean sound, Low noise level and does what it says on the tin. Works well on Acoustic guitars in the vanilla position and has also done a good job on piano's as well.
