Audio Technica AT3060 Tube Condenser Microphone

AT3060 Tube Condenser Microphone description:

A distinguishing feature of the AT3060 is that it operates on standard 48V phantom power; meaning that it doesn't require a separate power supply and cable, which makes it as easy to set up and use as a standard condenser microphone. Audio- Technica has made this possible at an extremely affordable price point, which allows a wide range of users to experience the AT3060's sonic excellence and warm classic tones.

The AT3060 features an all-new, large- diameter diaphragm cardioid condenser element, delivering high sensitivity and smooth sound with low overall noise levels, while a precision-machined, nickel-plated brass acoustic element baffle provides enhanced element stability and optimises sensitivity. The tube used in each AT3060 is hand selected and aged to maintain peak performance, and the tube itself is shock- mounted to dampen mechanically induced vibration. Electronically, the AT3060 includes a large coupling transformer to provide superior linearity at low frequencies, while precision valve design delivers the traditional warmth of the classic tube microphones. A silver satin finish ensures the microphone looks as beautiful as it sounds. The AT3060 Phantom- powered Tube Microphone includes the AT8458 shock mount to provide superior isolation, and a protective pouch. This unique new microphone has been created using state-of-the-art design and manufacturing techniques to ensure compliance with A-T's stringent consistency and reliability standards.
