These professional condenser microphones for studio recording and live applications have all the big-time features packed in an extremely compact form factor. They are sold as a matched pair, perfect for stereophonic recording and for a very resonable price.
The C-2s utilize a low-mass diaphragm for ultra-wide frequency response and ultimate sound reproduction and their inconspicuous size makes them perfect for acoustic instruments, overhead applications and pianos. The cardioid pickup pattern effectively eliminates feedback, plus there is switchable low frequency roll-off and -10 dB input attenuation. Ultra low-noise transformerless FET input eliminates low-frequency distortion, while a gold-plated 3-pin XLR connector assures the highest signal integrity.
Custom microphone stand adapters, windscreens, stereo-bar and transport case are all included, making these condenser microphones ready for use straight out of the box

I have only used them once so far on live drum overheads, they were great, nice clean sound and they reject sound from the side better than expected, my drummers foldback wedge was on the floor pointed up at him yet the mics only picked up a bit of them compared to cymbals and toms. Positioning is critical. I've never used expensive mics for overheads but can't imagine how the improvement would warrant the money for live work.
Used these microphones for first time on drum kit recording demo on portable 16 track recorder fantastic results picking up hi hats and cymbals. Highly recommend.
At the price, you cannot fault these mics. I used them as overheads to record a drum session recently and was delighted with the sound - nice rich sound to the cymbals which was great in the mix. Really no cons worth mentioning!

For the value of money they are perfect. Easy to use and have a nuce sound. If you brake them or drop them down there is not a problem. you buy a new pair...thats the good thing with this brand. .
Really great set of mics, and for the money they're incredible. So far I've used them as drum overheads which worked brilliantly, also it's got a nice low end roll off mode which just gets rid of any crappy low end. I also used them to record and acoustic guitar. I set it up using the mic bar to put both on on. Stand and then I positioned the mics in an XY position. One set towards to porthole and one towards about the 12 fret, then hard panned them on the software. Perfect sound.Definitely sizes up to the more expensive alternatives.Worth every penny.
Having purchased a pair earlier this year I did not hesitate when considering purchasing more. At £39 a pair I think the price for this quality of sound is unbeatable. They may not be perfect, but there is nothing that cannot be overcome by simple adjustments at the mixing desk. I now have four pairs and will find them very useful when recording acoustic instruments and choirs.
Bought specifically for recording my upright piano. Placed a few inches behind the soundboard, a foot apart, I got a stunningly natural sound - better than all other types i have tried for this purpose (large diaphram condensers, dynamics, electrets).
