The Beyerdynamic MC740 is a studio Large Diaphragm condenser microphone designed for recording vocals and instruments in professional and project studio environments. The MC740 has multi-pattern selection, low cut filter and -10dB attenuation pad. Users can select between omni-directional, cardioid, hyper-cardioid, wide-cardioid and figure eight polar patterns, providing the flexibility needed to perform in any scenario. Applications for the MC 740 include vocals, guitar, piano, percussion, strings and orchestras - as a main microphone resulting in a superb transparent sound.
The condenser capsule features a wide 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response, a 2-position low-cut filter switch eliminates noise at 80Hz and 160Hz and a -10dB Pad switch that enables signals with excessive transients to be reproduced without distortion.
