The Beyerdynamic Opus 54.16/2 has been designed for “hands free” applications. It is ideal for sales and product seminars, workshops, entertainers, dancers, drummers, keyboard players etc. Due to its low profile the Opus 54.16/2 is also suited for aerobics instructors, theatre use and stage musicals.
The Beyerdynamic Opus 54.162 features a rugged yet adjustable neckband and flexible ear bows that can be shaped for personal comfort to ensure a secure
fit. The Opus 54 is also suited for people who wear glasses.
The Opus 54.16 2 has a cardioid polar pattern which means a high gain
before feedback can be achieved, it also helps eliminate background
noise.
The flexible gooseneck allows optimum positioning of the microphone
and due to the angled form of the microphone it can be
placed to the side of the mouth for maximum intelligibility. Avoid
continuous bending of the gooseneck as it can cause excessive stress
and wear out the gooseneck.
