The Beyerdynamic SHM 930 is a true condenser gooseneck microphone with an integrated pre-amplifier. Due to its cardioid polar pattern the SHM 930 provides a high gain before feedback and excellent speech intelligibility for conferencing, sound reinforcement and studio applications.
The Beyerdynamic SHM930 has flexible goosenecks at the top and bottom allowing optimal positioning, both are joined by a rigid tube. A pre-attenuation of 15 dB can be selected when close miking. A selectable bass roll-off filter inside the pre-amp is to compensate the proximity effect which can occur with directional microphones. The microphone can be supplied by a phantom power between 11 and 52 V.
