The Type 4037 is a phantom powered (P48) omnidirectional condenser microphone using the same type of cartridge as the reference microphone Type 4007, but is preamplified using a build-in ultra-small thick- film mounted FET- preamplifier. The 4037 has its cable (5m as standard) mounted at 90 to the microphone axis which mechanically is perfect for situations where the microphone needs to be mounted directly on the musical instrument.
The extremely linear frequency response from 20Hz to 40kHz (2dB) and a SPL handling capability of 144dB SPL peak before clipping occurs makes the Type 4037 a professional choice in close miking situations with percussion, saxes, horns or grand piano.
Features:
- High SPL Capability
- Professional choice for percussion, saxes, horns or grand piano
- XLR output on a 5m cable
- Compact, Miniature Profile - The miniature design is attributed to the built-in ultra-small, thick-film mounted FET-preamplifier
- Includes DUA0030 Small Windscreen
