Luna Cardioid Condenser Microphone description:

The M-Audio Luna is a large diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone designed for vocal and general instrument use.

The large diaphragm cardioid condenser design is good for capturing vocals, guitar, piano and, in fact, most sound sources. Luna also sports a solid brass capsule, a quality valued by microphone connoisseurs for the warmer sound it delivers. The 1.1 inch diaphragm is metallized in a proprietary evaporated gold process.

Luna uses Class A FET electronics, a technology that is much quieter than the op-amp technology often found in solid state microphones. All Luna microphones are also +/- 1dB from the standard reference microphone and from each other.

The Luna includes a hard-shell travel case and shock-mount.
