Suspensions rely on compliant elastic elements, but the microphone cable is frequently so stiff that it "short-circuits" the isolation almost completely. The thick or double cables used for stereo microphones are particularly bad in this respect. The Connbox is designed as an accessory to the Modular Suspension and provides a ready to use solution to connection problems.
