The Samson CL8 is a true capacitor, large diaphragm, multi-pattern, studio condenser microphone designed for recording vocals and instruments.

The CL8 has a true capacitor condenser mic element design with dual 1.1-inch, ultra thin gold sputtered diaphragm capsules giving it the ability of multi-pattern operation. Capacitor-based elements are warmer, brighter and bigger sounding than electret-based elements, which is why they are able to faithfully reproduce a variety of sound sources with amazing clarity and detail. The CL8 also features a Hi-pass filter switch to cut low frequency noise below 100Hz and a 10dB PAD switch for recording high SPL sources.
