Audient MiCO Dual Mic Preamp
A compact, feature packed twin Mic Pre with built in ultra-high quality ADCs, making it an ideal front-end for desk-top users.
The front-end design is Audient's renowned balanced discrete Class A design which is also used in the ASP008 and the ASP8024 mixing console - guaranteeing outstanding sonic transparency and detail.
Audient Mico also features one channel of the unique HMX harmonic sculpting technology from the Audient Black Pre making the creation of vintage style character and complexity as simple as turning one knob. For recording a single source with twin mics or mic+DI, the Variphase control on Mico's second channel allows precise phase alignment (or creative mis-alignment) of the two signal paths.
sE Titan Condenser Microphone
The SE Titan utilizes a specially developed centre terminated titanium diaphragm capsule creating a frequency characteristic to enhance clarity, detail, and transient response.
Why Titanium? ¬ Titanium has special properties that make it well suited to making high quality microphone diaphragms, and is used in the famous Neumann M150 diaphragm (one of Neumann’s most expensive models). Like gold it does not tarnish but it is a lighter metal than gold and stiffer, therefore it moves faster and yields a superior transient response. A better transient response means clear high frequencies with less distortion and a tighter low frequency response.
The SE Titan features a -10dB pad and low frequency roll-off switches, and is excellent for vocal recording and broadcast use. It is also well suited for miking any acoustic instrument, orchestral to ethnic. Its excellent transient response makes it ideal for percussion.
sE Project Studio Reflexion Filter
The PS Reflexion Filter is a portable device for recording live sound sources with reduced room ambience. It is an advanced composite wall which is positioned behind any microphone by means of a variable position stand clamp assembly which ships with the product. The main function is to help obtain a ‘dry’ vocal or instrument recording. This is especially useful in studios without proper acoustic treatment, but can also be used to help record takes in control rooms, where the performer also has to operate the recording device, or in rehearsal studios to reduce ambient noise.
The Project Studio RF uses the same basic design as the PRO version, omitting the multiple layers and acoustic boundaries replacing them with the same, patented, polyester acoustic board. The PS Reflexion Filter is lined with a high grade, high density crystal foam with a unique curved ridge cut which performs far better than standard acoustic foam.
