Shure PG81-XLR Cardioid Condenser Instrument Microphone

PG81-XLR Cardioid Condenser Instrument Microphone description:

The Shure PG81 is a Cardioid Condenser (electret bias) microphone ideal for capturing sound from acoustic instruments.

The PG81 has a frequency response of 40Hz to 18kHz, providing linear, smooth signal reproduction of acoustic guitar, cymbals, piano, strings, woodwinds and ensembles. The microphone has a slim-profile design, making it ideal for overhead drum placement.

Features:

  • Flat frequency response is wide and uniform
  • Consistent sensitivity through frequency range
  • Cardioid polar pattern less susceptible to feedback in high volume settings
  • Condenser cartridge has a lightweight, sensitive diaphragm
  • Precisely and smoothly captures sound nuances
  • Powered by AA battery or phantom power supply
  • Internal shock mount for reduced handling noise.
  • Durable metal construction
  • On/off switch for onstage control
  • PG81-XLR Includes 5.75m (15 ft) XLR to XLR Cable, Microphone Clip, 5/8 inch to 3/8 inch Thread Adapter, Storage Bag, AA Battery
