Bogner Amplification announces a forthcoming line of production amplifiers designed to deliver at an excellent value the signature flexibility, pure valve signal path and rich tonal characteristics indicative of the Bogner brand.
Created directly from the vision and specifications of Bogner Amplification founder, Reinhold Bogner, and inspired by the voicing and culture of classic Californian-flavored amplifier designs, each of the new Bogner amplifiers will achieve the crystalline cleans, robust leads and bright and colorful crunch associated with their predecessors. Featuring two independent channels and a four-button foot switch, the new Bogner line will be entirely flexible and designed to compliment the sounds of single-coils and humbuckers both vintage and modern. Its sonority will quickly transform to display mid-punch qualities or saturated modern tones appropriate for the most aggressive music.
The new Bogner line is well-rounded, offering a 112 combo, a 212 combo, and a head, all 40 watts, with a 212 cabinet in production, as well. The amplifiers will boast class AB power sections with five 12AX7 preamp tubes and two 6L6 power tubes driving premium Celestion® speakers. Plus, with a few choice effects running in parallel and remaining separate from the original signal, each amplifier will be capable of producing a complete tonal landscape.
Eye-catching with a classic boutique fit-and-finish, the new line will boast a retro-modern design, celebrating the classic albeit timeless approach to these modern amplifiers. “We couldn’t be more excited,” remarks Reinhold Bogner, founder of Bogner Amplification. “Every component, every detail was chosen by me in order to deliver the custom amp experience to the legions of guitarists who are truly discerning about tone.”
