Boss GT-100 Next Generation Effects Processing

The flagship GT-100 makes use of Boss’s excellent COSM technology to model biting modern roars, vintage purrs and everything else in-between, along with effects emulations that draw from the company’s own illustrious history and other classic contributions across the music technology world, all packaged within an easy-to-use, rugged interface.

The dual LED screen setup is new too, allowing you clearer graphics when working with pre and post modelling, FX manipulation and tone editing. Eight rotary encoders lurk underneath, switching to relevant, quick-use parameters as you cycle through the gigantic number of tone banks. It also displays the upgraded Ez-Tone ‘Tone Grid’ system, which allows you to put together fast virtual signal chains for efficient and speedy patch creation.

The Accel on the Boss GT-100 pedal is also a brand new addition – those of you looking to truly mutate your sounds and control multiple parameters simultaneously through the expression pedal will be able to experiment to your hearts’ content.

You can also now access A/B channel switching, gelling nicely with the dual-panel design, which allows you completely different modelling, effect and frequency setups within the one preset, further expanding the possibility for go-to sounds and broader access.

The usual plethora of ins and outs are onboard too – USB, MIDI, Aux etc – so the Boss GT-100 will integrate seamlessly into your current rig, and as programming your patches has been designed to be an absolute doddle, you’ll be up and running in no time. Whether you’re an existing GT fan or new to the range, it’ll be hard not to love the most recent incarnation.
