Fender are upgrading their Standard range of Mexican made instruments! Continuing the sound that creates legends! The Fender Mexican Standard Stratocaster offers legendary Fender tone combined with classic styling that includes three single-coil pickups, a synchronized tremolo with high-mass bridge block, shielded body cavities, and medium jumbo frets. New features include a tinted neck, parchment pickguard/control knobs, and a '70s-style logo. The Standard Strat - plug one in and hear for yourself!
The Upgrades to the Mexican Standard range of Guitars and Basses are as follows;
- New bolder Fender@ Logo on the front of the headstock
- Country of origin and serial number moved to the back of the headstock
- Tinted necks for a richer classier look, much like the new US Standard range
- Parchment plastic instead of brilliant white, giving a warmer appearance
- 2 New Colours. Lake Placid Blue will replace Electron Blue and Candy Apple Red will replace Chrome Red
- Maple neck options on Basses
