Gibson Guitar News: DV are hosting a series of special events giving you the chance to meet Ray Miller and Nick Aslin from Gibson at one of the new Gibson Guitar Centres opening at DV this Winter.
The legendary 1959 Les Paul was so good, it remained practically unchanged for 50 years. Gibson will be talking us through everything from the authentic '59 re-issues to the new Les Paul Standard '08 series.
This is your chance to find out everything you ever wanted to know about Gibson guitars from the people who know them best, in a store near you.
The first date in the series was held at the East London Retail Warehouse, from 12pm until 4pm on Saturday 17th October and was a great success.
Gibson are visiting DV North London on Saturday 5th December. Again, the Gibson team will be in-store between 12pm and 4pm. And that’s not all – a wealth of the greatest Gibson guitars in Europe will be there as well, including a host of VOS 59 Les Pauls and other collectable 59 Les Paul guitars such as the Mike Bloomfield '59 Re-Issue Les Paul.
The Les Paul has become an icon of rock 'n roll, loved by artists such as Jimmy Page, Mike Bloomfield, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton and Billy Gibbons, to name but a few. Come along and find out why! What’s more, everyone in-store will be treated to possibly the largest amount of Gibson guitars in the UK, including Limited Editions, Custom Shop, one-off models and a huge amount of USA guitars which will be available to try and buy, backed up by very special on-the-day deals. Best of all – attendance is free!
