Ibanez JEM505 Steve Vai Signature News: Steve Vai has teamed up with Ibanez to produce the new JEM505 electric guitar. Entering the market as a mid-level version of the already-popular JEM7, it should be easier on your pocket.

The main new feature of the JEM505 is its maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. The pickups are different too; they are the Ibanez V7 in the neck position, the S1 single coil in the middle and the V8 in the bridge position. The JEM505 has the Edge (cosmo) trem and the familiar basswood body.

Available in both black and white, it is bound to be a rip-roaringly fast machine with the screaming tones you'd expect from a Steve Vai Signature guitar.
