The Dunlop Cry Baby Wah Wah pedal has cemented itsself in musical history with (apart from it's memorable and snappy name) famous guitarists like Buddy Guy, Slash, Dimebag Darrell, Jerry Cantrell and Eddie Van halen using them over the years. It is not certain where the original idea of a wah pedal came from, but the Jim Dunlop GCB95 Cry Baby has been around for many years and is one of the best-known guitar wah pedals still available. So well known that a full-length Cry Baby Wah movie has now been made.
The Cry Baby Wah Wah is now made in many different forms, with signature Cry Baby models available for almost every recognisable guitarist under the sun, including Jimi Hendrix, Kirk Hammett and Slash signature Wah Wah pedals. The Jim Dunlop Cry Baby is so famous, there has been a full-length movie made in celebration of this amazing Wah pedal. Here is the first part of the series:
