Yamaha Mixer News: Yamaha is celebrating 40 years of analogue and 25 years of digital mixer production this year, and to mark this, a new line of premium mixing consoles has been unveiled.
The new MGP "Premium" Series brings with it new features and great quality incorporating studio-grade preamps, Neve-style EQ, REV-X and SPX effects processing, a special "hybrid" analogue/digital stereo channel with automatic level control, and iPod/iPhone connectivity with a free editor app.
Shipping in March 2012, there will be two models to choose from - the MGP 16X and MGP 12X. Both promise premium analogue signal paths, high-quality digital DSP, and maximum flexibility - ideal for studio or stage.
