NAMM 2012 News: NAMM ‘12 promises to be a particularly busy show this year, with every major manufacturer in the music industry unveiling their latest products at the gigantic annual industry gathering, being held from 19-21 January in Anaheim, California.

Now in its 101st year (!), we’ve been used to the biggest releases and most inspiring new technological advances making their debut at the NAMM show, and from the information we’ve already started to gather, NAMM 2012 promises to be no exception.
NAMM 2012 Highlights, Manufacturers and Products
Studio and pro audio equipment will feature heavily – the likes of Shure, Sennheiser, Moog, Roland, Korg, SE Electronics, Rode, Neumann, Focusrite, Novation, Avid, RME, Steinberg and Native Instruments will have plenty of new wares to release. The product line-up will include some exciting new microphones, mixers and audio interfaces, details and specifications for which will be released here.
From the guitar side of the 2012 NAMM show we’ll be reporting on completely new guitars, amps and effects alongside updates/reissues of old favourites from companies such as Gibson, Fender, Ibanez, PRS, Line 6, Orange, Yamaha, Ampeg, TC Electronic, Korg, Boss and Vox, to mention but a few.
DJ and live sound will feature heavily too – Stanton, Numark, Pioneer, Samson, Mackie and a huge number of other manufacturers will be vying for your attention with new controllers, decks and speakers historically forming a centrepiece of the NAMM show stage.

No matter what products you’ll be adding to your setup, so we’ll be taking it upon ourselves to make sure you have the entire event laid clear by our up-to-the-minute reporting on NAMM 2012 releases.
