PRS SE Torero Electric Guitar News: All things shred have finally arrived at Paul Reed Smith’s workshop, in the form of the SE Torero. In a departure for the company, this concession to widdlers across the world is packing an original Floyd Rose 1000 series locking trem, 24 frets and EMG 81 and 85 pickups.

Another first on the PRS SE Torero is the thru-neck construction – a three-piece wide-thin maple neck, with a slim heel contour that allows even greater access – flanked by two mahogany wings on the singlecut body, and capped by a maple top and flame maple veneer. A 24-jumbo fret, ebony fingerboard finishes things off really nicely, allowing for smooth, fast playing and loads of sweet sustain.
With the sumptuous aesthetic you’d expect of all guitars from the PRS stable, and looking resplendent in a black cherry finish, it’s safe to say that The the PRS Torero axe is a real charmer. Shredders nation-wide are getting out their chequebooks. Includes a PRS SE gigbag.
