TC PolyTune Mini NAMM 2012 News: TC Electronic have dubbed the PolyTune Mini tuner pedal the "world's smallest polyphonic tuner". After the massive success reaped by the TC PolyTune since its release 2 years ago, the electronics wizards at TC have managed to squash the same polyphonic tuning technology into an even smaller chassis, called the PolyTune Mini.
Tiny Meets Awesome in the PolyTune Mini
Bearing an ultra-small footprint, the PolyTune Mini will fit on any pedalboard, but it doesn't skimp on functionality: with tuning precision of +/- 0.5 cent in chromatic and +/- 1 cent accuaracy in polyphonic modes respectively, the PT Mini measures up to its larger competition just fine.
The PolyTune Mini automatically senses whether all the strings are strummed, or just one, and changes the display mode accordingly, and if that's not smart enough for you, this mini tuner pedal also packs Drop-D and Capo modes and True Bypass for zero compromise on the tone front. It even features a LED display with the same amount of LEDs as its big brother, the original PolyTune pedal.
All-in-all the TC Electronic PolyTune Mini is a well built, feature-packed polyphonic tuner pedal which leaves you more room on your pedalboard, which in our books can only be a good thing.
