With the arrival of Propellerhead Reason 6 on the horizon, we have some upgrade news...
The big news is the much-anticipated inclusion of multi-track audio recording in
Reason 6 - this turns Reason into a fully-fledged one-app DAW.
Previously, audio was taken care of by Propellerheads Record 1.5 software, but now this has been fully integrated into Reason 6, Record will no longer be available as a separate software title.
So what does this mean for existing Reason or Record users?
If you own Reason and Record (DUO) already, then you have the option to pay "what you like" from a pound upwards. That's right - pay what you want! Please see the Propellerhead website for details. This is a time limited offer for DUO owners who purchased before 1st July 2011.
If you own Reason or Record already, then you can buy an upgrade now so that you own both software titles (ie "DUO"), which then entitles you to a free download upgrade to Reason 6 upon release.
