Sparrow Guitars in the UK
Sparrow Guitars are proud to announce the availability of the Sparrow guitar line in the United Kingdom.
"We are excited to have our guitars available in the UK..." said Sparrow Guitars President Billy Bones. "Many influential musicians and artists - including The Clash, Sex Pistols and Rolling Stones - came from the UK and we hope to contribute to that legacy by having our guitars available there moving forward."
About Sparrow Guitars
Head honcho Billy Bones (yes, that's the name on his driver's licence) started designing guitars several years ago.
"The goal is to make a guitar that a kid can afford to play that's going to sound great, so the last three years has been us trying to develop that," says the 32-year-old father. "It seems like these last eight months we're kind of in the pocket, putting out a great guitar that competes with all these lousy guitars on price and competes with all these expensive guitars on quality."
Sparrow offers five guitar models in seven finishes and various styles of pin-striping and flames with names like Big Daddy, Rat Rod and Twang Master.
Hand Painted Pure Rock & Roll
Sparrow guitars are assembled, wired, set up, hand-painted, and finished in Canada, in their Vancouver, BC facility.
The pinstriping/flames are painted by hand, and go on top of the base coat, and underneath the clearcoat, so the stripes/flames are buried nice and deep.
The style of the Sparow paint and artwork is what Bones calls "classic cool '50s greasy stuff." In other words, hotrods, motorcycles, pinball, tattoos and rock 'n' roll.
