Manley Massive Passive EQ now available For UAD2 - WOW! Specifically, the two-channel, four-band Manley Massive Passive EQ utilizes design strengths from choice console, graphic, parametric and Pultec EQs — delivering a fundamentally different EQ that’s beyond compare. The Massive Passive’s natural treatment of a signal lends itself to both radical tonal shaping as well as delicate vocal shading or subtle mastering enhancement.

The Manley Massive Passive EQ plug-in is available as part of the new UAD Software v5.6.0 release (14 day FREE trial). In addition to the Manley Massive Passive EQ, the EMT 140 Plate Reverb and the Precision Enhancer Hz plug-ins, v5.6.0 includes additional performance enhancements for all UAD-2 users on the Windows platform.
Which UAD2 should I buy?
This really depends on the amount of DSP you require. UAD-2 offers scalable DSP power via four different types of cards (UAD-2 Solo, UAD-2 Duo and UAD-2 Quad) which can be mixed and matched in any combination (max. 4 cards). There are four UAD-2 families (Standard, Neve formerly Nevana , Flexi and Omni) and a UAD2 Solo Laptop thus giving eleven UAD-2 products to drool over.
Currently, the Omni family consists of the Quad, the Duo Omni had been discontinued.

- Existing UAD-1 users can crossgrade all their plug-in licenses to the UAD-2 completely FREE of charge
- When you crossgrade UAD-1 plug-in licenses to UAD-2 you must transfer all plugin licenses at the same time. Crossgraded plug-ins are still authorized on the UAD-1
