The DigiTech Vocalist VL3D is the latest addition to the Vocalist line of Harmony Processors. It is designed specifically for Keyboard players that sing and require backing vocals, and can be used for either live performance or just laying down tracks in the studio; however it can also be used with a guitar and has a built-in guitar tuner.
The Digitech VL3D features 3-part harmonies using DigiTech’s exclusive MusIQ technology which analyzes the singer’s voice and adds the most musically correct harmonies.
The Vocalist VL3D offers real- time Pitch Correction, a Harmony Mix control, and an A/B part selector with Gender Control, which allows the user to choose between male and/or female harmonies.
Three different types of Reverb are offered including studio, room, and hall. A mic pre-effects section includes Warmth, Compression, De-Esser, and a Noise gate. Single-Level Programmability and 5 user defined Voicing Patches makes the VL3D an easy-to-use alternative to the multi-layered menu driven competition. Connecting the VL3D is just as easy as accessing harmonies with XLR, Guitar or Line-Level Inputs, and it can be controlled via MIDI In, Out/Thru.
