The VOX AC30 is a true legend in the music Industry. Originally introduced in 1958, The VOX AC30 jumped into the foreground of British Rock when the Beatles used the Vox AC30 during 1960’s Beatlemania. Along with the Beatles, the VOX AC30 was also used by legends such as Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, Brian May, Paul Weller and the Edge. In this series there are two limited editions available, both variants of the VOX AC30C2: The Vox AC30C2-RD, a limited edition in vintage red, and the MusikMesse 11 announcement: The VOX AC30 C2 Black Comet, limited to 350 pieces worldwide and features a stylish 'Black Comet' pattern finish.
The VOX AC30 HW series consist of 3 models, all wired by hand in the USA: The VOX AC30HWC2 features two 12” Celestion Greenback Speakers, whereas the VOX AC30HWC2X has two 12” Celestion Alnico Blue Speakers. The flagships of the AC-30 range, they both have every connection wired by hand by Vox’s premier engineers.
The VOX AC30VR fits into their Valve Reactor series and is a development from their hugely popular VOX Valvetronix amps. A great mixture of Valve and Solid State, the AC-30VR sports a 12AX7 valve acting as a small power amplifier providing the brilliant sparkling vintage tones and it works in tandem with a solid-state power amplifier to provide a high gain modern tone. A best seller in the VOX AC30 range due to its tremendous value.
