The Mackie PPM 808S is a full featured 8-channel 1200 watt stereo powered mixer with onboard EMAC 32-bit digital stereo effects processor with everything you'll need for the gig.
The Mackie PPM 808S comes with high-headroom, low-noise mic preamps that are legendary the world over for their superior sound quality. Each of the six stereo channel strips feature XLR mic and 1/4" TRS line inputs, TRS insert jacks, monitor and effects send, 3-band EQ, and an input Trim control with individual level-set LEDs.
The Mackie PPM 808S includes a very nice 32-bit digital EMAC effects processor, equivalent to many outboard effects processors, offering 16 user-controllable, stunning effects. And since graphic equalizers are always in a powered mixer's output path, Mackie have insanely over-engineered this one with expensive, discrete components, eliminating the phase distortion that plagues the competitors.
The output section boasts two 600-watt FR (Fast Recovery) power amps, dual 9-band graphic equalizers, 75Hz rumble reduction filters, a switchable soft-knee compressor, and output level metering.
