VPX15 Sub Active PA Sub description:

The Studiomaster VPX15 Sub Active PA Subwoofer. The VPX 15 sub can provide you with a maximum 600 Watts of thunderous bass power and an ideal partner for the VPX12 or VPX15. Inside the rear panel are two 100Hz crossovers that will accept a mono or stereo signal from you mixer.

If you use stereo, it will mix the bass frequencies to mono (sound is non directional at low frequencies) while allowing the high frequencies through, in stereo, to you mid/high speakers. So you can use a single VPX15 sub with a pair of VPX12 & 15 cabinets and still get a great sound.
