Review:
There is nothing to touch it at this price. Yes it has it's weaknesses (Supply caps are a bit small, volume pots are not good enough quality, some opamps could do with changing, build quality can be variable), but if you can live with the Diahatsu looks, it is an excellent base for a power amp, with components that can be upgraded at a reasonable cost. Once the upgrades to the weak components are done, you've got a top-class amp which will give about 120w RMS at 8 Ohms (Stereo) and about 375w RMS at Min 8 Ohms (Bridged Mono), for very little money.

Review:
I've only owned this amp for a few days so am not qualified to speak about reliability but if you care about any other aspects of this amp then read on.

I'm not an 'audiophile' but have a keen interest in audio equipment and music and bought this as an upgrade for a much smaller and weaker T-class amp that I had bought when I was a nomadic student, tempted by this amp's good reputation in the HiFi community as being a bit of a 'giant killer' and its good watts-per-pound ratio (possibly the best on the market, excluding lairy, unrefined PA amps).

So about the amp - it is extremely powerful meaning that it has oodles of headroom to accurately reproduce drum hits and low bass notes at normal listening volume (which, with my CD player, speakers, and room, is with the volume well below 1/4). I haven't got the most highly trained ears but to me the amp sounds pretty transparent - defined and controlled at the low end and crisp at the top end. Most importantly for me, it has enough power to accurately reproduce the low end of the frequency spectrum which my old amp was lacking.

Regarding build quality, the volume knobs feel nice, the power button has a reassuring click, and if you were to drop it on anyone from a height of 2 inches, it is so solid and heavy that it would probably kill them.
